What is in each printable?
7-Day Easy Ostomy Meal Plan. Seven days of gentle, low-fiber meals based on hospital guidance for the first weeks after surgery: six small meals a day, a tip for each day, easy swaps, a shopping list, foods to go slow on, and the signs of dehydration to watch for.
Foods and Stoma Noise chart. Some foods tend to make more gas, and more stoma sounds, or stronger odor. The chart lists common ones in three columns, explains how to try one new food at a time, and includes a tracker for rating gas or noise from 0 to 3. For more ways to quiet stoma sounds, see how to stop stoma noise, the colostomy diet guide and the ileostomy diet guide.
Pouch Change Checklist. A step-by-step routine from emptying the pouch to sealing the new wafer, with a supply list you can check off and a reminder of when to call your ostomy nurse or doctor. If leaks keep happening, read why ostomy bags leak and how to stop it.
Ostomy Travel Packing List. What to pack in your carry-on and checked bag, how to split supplies so a lost suitcase never leaves you without, and airport security tips for US flights.
